Asia Cup 2023: Pakistan square off against Nepal in the first match

The 16th edition of the Asia Cup (2023) will get underway from 30th August where Pakistan and Nepal will be squaring off against each other in the opening match on Wednesday at Multan Cricket Stadium in Multan. Pakistan have really been in a good form lately as they recently registered a series victory against Afghanistan in the ODI series where they beat Afghanistan by 3-0. Babar Azam-led Pakistan would hope to enter the tournament with the same momentum and intensity to keep the upper hand in the tournament from the very beginning.
Nepal, on the other hand, are coming into the tournament for the first time as it will be their maiden outing in the Asia Cup. Nepal booked their slot in the Asia Cup on the back of their victory in the Menβs Premier League. Rohit Paudel will be leading Nepal in the tournament.
