If rains spoils IND vs SL Asia Cup final, who will lift the trophy?

India and Sri Lanka are gearing up to take on each other in the final of the Asia Cup 2023 on Sunday at R. Premadasa Stadium. India are coming against defending champions Sri Lanka who have been very competitive in the game. Going forward in the game, the rain threat is a big concern because it has played a big role in spoiling the contests. Team India are looking forward to ending their title drought as it’s been five years since India last won any ICC title. This would be the striking chance for India to claim the title as they have shown great intent with fierce performances. Sri Lanka, on the other side, would be hoping to lift the title for consecutive year.
Weather in Colombo has been very disappointing with dark clouds approaching the city frequently. On Sunday, there is also forecast as there is 90 percent chances for precipitation. There are high chances of rain in evening. If the match on Sunday is washed out, then there is ‘Reserve Day’ allotted for Monday to resume the match. Even if, rain does not relent on Monday as well then, both teams will be declared joint-title winners.
