ENG vs IRE 2nd ODI: England and Ireland once again come against each other

England and Ireland will be squaring off against each other in the second game of the three-match ODI series on Saturday at Trent Bridge, Nottingham. The first match between both teams was abandoned due to rain on Wednesday without any bowl being bowled. Joe Root had looked to give final touch to his performance through first ODI ahead of the World Cup but all of his plans were shattered due to rain in the first match. Joe Root has now been rested for the reaming two matches following the upcoming ODI World Cup. This is completely a different team for England against Ireland as all of their senior players have been rested due to the approaching ODI World Cup. Zak Crawley is leading England as they hope to do good to win the trophy. Ireland, on the other hand, are with their full-strength squad with the likes of Andrew Balbirnie, Harry Tector and Lorcan Tucker. Paul Stirling is leading the side.
