BBL 2023: Adelaide Strikers fight it out against Sydney Thunder

In the eighth match of the ongoing Big Bash League tournament, Adelaide Strikers will be locking horns against Sydney Thunder on Tuesday at Adelaide Oval. The tournament is resuming after a break of few days due to Australia’s opening Test match against Pakistan. Adelaide Strikers have played one game in the tournament, which was against Brisbane Heat, but there was no action being witnessed after match was abandoned without toss. Both teams shared one point each. Sydney Thunder, meanwhile, have also played one match in the tournament, which was also against Brisbane Heat, where they lost the game by 20 runs. Adelaide Strikers are placed on the fifth position in the points table with one point as they would hope to start off well and aim for a complete action under the leadership of new skipper Matt Short. Sydney Thunder, on the other hand, are placed on the seventh position in the points table with no point and one defeat. It will be really crucial for Sydney Thunder to get back to winning ways to assert themselves back into the tournament.
