David Warner makes plea for his missing Baggy Green Cap

Australia’s departing opener David Warner, who is set to play his farewell Test match on Wednesday against Pakistan at Sydney Cricket Ground, has made a plea after his Baggy Green Caps went missing during his journey from Melbourne to Sydney. In his public plea, David Warner appealed to return it if anyone was possessing it.
“Unfortunately, someone has taken my backpack out of my actual luggage, which had my backpack and my girls’ present in there. Inside this backpack was my Baggy Greens. That is sentimental to me, it’s something I would love to have back in my hands, walking out there come this week,” Warner said on Social Media.
In his emotional appeal, David Warner said that the person returning it won’t get into any trouble and asked, whosoever got it, to reach out to Cricket Australia to return it. David Warner is also set to bid adieu to his Test career after featuring in his last Test match which Australia will play against Pakistan beginning January 3 at Sydney Cricket Ground. Meanwhile, Australian skipper Pat Cummins confirmed that Australia will play the third Test match against Pakistan with the same lineup.
“If it’s the backpack you really wanted, I have a spare one here. You won’t get into any trouble. I’m happy to give this to you if you return my Baggy Green.”
