AUS vs PAK 3rd Test: Pakistan gear up to counter Australian juggernaut

The highly competitive Test series between Australia and Pakistan has been nothing short of a thrilling spectacle as both teams will meet each other in the third and final Test match beginning January 3rd at Sydney Cricket Ground. Australia have won the first two matches convincingly to take the series-winning lead of 2-0. After having dominated Pakistan squarely, Australia will be looking forward to completing a clean sweep.
Australian batsmen have delivered commanding performances while stepping up individually in times of need. Australian bowlers too displayed remarkable intensity and momentum, restricting Pakistan to below par totals and securing emphatic victories in both games. Pakistan, on the other side, will hope to stage a commanding return to the proceedings after failing in the first two games. Going into this game, Pakistan will need to strategise to address the challenges they are facing. It will be a mammoth task for Pakistan to counter Australian juggernaut.
Both teams have also announced their playing XI ahead of the game. Australia have kept their playing XI unchanged (That played in second Test) while Pakistan have made two changes to their lineup. They have rested Shaheen Afridi while Imam-ul-Haq has been dropped. Saim Ayub and Sajid khan have been brought in for Imam-ul-Haq and Shaheen Afridi respectively. This will also be the farewell Test match for Australian opener David Warner who is set to play the last Test match of his career.
