AUS vs PAK 3rd Test day 1 Stump: Warner negotiates final over to bat on day two alongside Khawaja, Pakistan scores 313

Pakistan in their first innings got past (300) in the third and final Test match against Australia that got underway from January 3rd between both teams at Sydney Cricket Ground. Losing their openers for ducks after deciding to bat, Pakistan were propelled by the uplifting partnership between Mohammad Rizwana (88) and Salman Ali Agha (53), setting the tone for Pakistan’s good times. Pat Cummins again showcased his class by bagging five-wicket haul to cripple Pakistan.
Mitchell Starc got back with two scalps. Mitchell Marsh got the crucial wicket of skipper Shan Masood while Josh Hazlewood also chipped in with one wicket. Down the order, Aamer Jamal stood tall to frustrate Australia’s bowling attack with his hard-fought knock of (82) to take the team to (313). Starting their first innings, Australia scored (6) for no loss with David Warner and Usman Khawaja unbeaten on (6) and (0) respectively. There was only one over remaining in the day as Australia came out to bat. David Warner, who is playing the last Test match of his career, faced all six bowl to remain unbeaten. Pakistan's Sajid khan bowled the first over with Warner putting the first ball over the boundary. He ran for two runs to finish on six on day one of the third Test.
David Warner received the standing ovation from Pakistan players as he came out to bat. Warner also got a warm hug from his fellow opener Usman Khawaja while mking their way to the ground. On day two, retiring Warner would hope to score big to end his Test career on a blazing note.
