Australia’s most dazzling opener David Warner closed his illustrious Test career on a memorable Saturday after he scored half-century in the Australia’s third Test match against Pakistan at the iconic Sydney Cricket Ground. Australia capped off the three-match series, filled with competitive performances, with a clean sweep. With a career spanning over a decade, Warner has left an indelible mark on the world of cricket, entertaining fans with his brilliant batting style and unwavering commitment to the game.

Warner's journey in Test cricket began in 2011 against New Zealand, and from the outset, he was engrossed into that cricket and went on to give Australia great starts while being the fearless opener. Known for his aggressive approach at the crease, Warner maintained that approach throughout his Test career, setting the tone for the innings with enthralling starts that helped Australia bigly.

Throughout his career, Warner amassed 8,786 runs in Test cricket from his 112 Tests, including 26 centuries and 37 half-centuries. The volume of runs Warner has scored is a testament to his remarkable consistency and ability to convert starts into substantial innings. Warner’s highest score of 335 not out against Pakistan in 2019 remains one of the sweetest innings. Throughout his career, Warner remained the bankable player that showcased not only his power-hitting prowess but also his ability to anchor an innings when needed.
