Undoubtedly, New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson’s smooth conduct in the cricketing action has been halted by the frequent injuries. Whenever, he finds some momentum in his action, injury happens to cross his path, putting a pause to his smooth run. New Zealand are currently hosting Pakistan in the five-match T2OI series, two of which they have already won under the leadership of Kane Williamson.

After making his presence in the first two games, Williamson, as per reports, is likely to miss the remainder of the series due to a hamstring injury. Williamson was already slated to be absent from the third game having been set out in the squad. Currently, New Zealand are leading five-match series 2-0. The third T20I between both teams will be played on Wednesday at University Oval.
