In the ongoing Pakistan Super League, two formidable teams, Islamabad United and Quetta Gladiators, are set to take on each other in the 18th match of the tournament on Saturday at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi.

Under the leadership of seasoned campaigner Shadab Khan, Islamabad United have displayed commendable form, however, they have not got the results on expected terms. They have secured two victories from five games which could be perplexing for them as the tournament approaches its conclusion with other teams looking to make big gains.

Islamabad United, with three defeats, are on the fourth spot in the points table with four points and the positive NRR of +0.108. They will head into this game on the back of their 7-wicket victory against Karachi Kings. Islamabad United will look to maintain their winning momentum and further solidify their position in the PSL standings.

On the other side, Quetta Gladiators, are keeping the momentum in their favour with four victories from five games. The Gladiators have shown glimpses of their potential to dominate on the field. Gladiators are on the second spot in the points table with eight points and the positive NRR of +0.313. With a squad comprising of seasoned players, Quetta possess the firepower to trouble Islamabad United.
