Shan Masood could muster (36) followed by Shoaib Malik’s (38) which wasn’t enough for the team’s win, thereby losing the game by (20) runs.
The victory marked a significant milestone for Multan Sultans, marching into the playoffs after their win against Karachi Kings. They became the first team to qualify for the playoffs in the ongoing Pakistan Super League.
