Rajasthan Royals pulverize Mumbai Indians, advance to top of table

Mumbai Indians again failed to get off the mark in their IPL campaign after being crushed by Rajasthan Royals by six wickets in the 14th match of the ongoing Indian Premier League on Monday at Wankhede Stadium. RR bowlers Trent Boult and Yuzvendra Chahal claimed three wickets each to reduce the host to 125/9 in (20) overs. 

In their chase of the target, Rajasthan Royals raced to victory with (27) balls to spare and six wickets in hand, with Riyan Parag top-scoring (54) unbeaten. Royals went past the target in (15.3) overs scoring 127/4. 

Earlier, put into bat, Mumbai Indians got off to a disastrous start with Trent Boult removing Rohit Sharma and Naman Dhir for first-ball ducks. Ishan Kishan fought back with few attacking shots, but he was caught behind for (16). Hardik Pandya and Tilak Verma made a union adding (56) off (36) balls to ease some pressure off Indians, still they couldnt overcome confident Royals. This is Mumbai Indians’ third straight defeat in as many games.
