In an electrifying encounter, India secured a commanding victory over Bangladesh by 86 runs in the second T20I of their three-match series on Wednesday at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. Asked to bat, India set a daunting target, thanks to Nitish Kumar Reddy and Rinku Singh’s destructive knocks.

India's innings began on a dull note, with key players in the top-order losing their wickets early on, leaving India in lurch. The likes of Sanju Samson (10), Abhishek Sharma  (15)and Suryakumar Yadav (8) couldn’t provide Indian an explosive start. But, Nitish Kumar and Rinku Singh spearheaded India’s batting attack to release the growing pressure that came with the fall of early wickets. Reddy was in spectacular form, scoring a blistering 74-run knock off just 34 balls, featuring four boundaries and seven sixes.

Rinku Singh also contributed significantly, adding 53 runs to the scoreboard. Rinku’s help helped India reach a formidable total of 221 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs.

Chasing a challenging target, Bangladesh struggled to gain momentum as they again faced a disciplined bowling attack from Indian bowlers, who consistently applied pressure on the Bangladeshi batsmen. Bangladesh managed to score only 135 runs in their 20 overs, losing 9 wickets in the process. India now lead the series 2-0.
