Mushfiqur Rahim ruled out of West Indies Tests, Litton Das returns

Bangladesh’s veteran wicketkeeper-batter Mushfiqur Rahim has been ruled out of the upcoming two-match Test series against West Indies due to a finger injury. He picked up the injury during the first ODI against Afghanistan last week in Sharjah. Rahim wasn’t included into Bangladesh’s 15-member squad announced on Sunday for the West Indies Tests.
Najmul Hossain Shanto will be leading the side, with experienced Litton Das, Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Shoriful Islam featuring in the side. Litton Das returns to the side after missing the second Test against South Africa and three ODI against Afghanistan due to fever.
The series will start on November 22 with the first game in Antigua. The second Test will begin on November 30 in Jamaica. Meanwhile, Bangladesh have left out Nayeem Hasan and Khaled Ahmed from the squad.
