Ben Curran handed maiden call in Zimbabwe's squad for Afghanistan ODIs

Zimbabwe have named their squads for the upcoming white-ball series against Afghanistan, with batter Ben Curran and pacer Newman Nyamhuri receiving their maiden call-ups. Ben Curran has been named in Zimbabwwe's ODI squad. Zimbabwe will be hosting Afghanistan for three T20s, as many ODIs and two Tests. The multi-format series will begin with T20Is as first T20I is scheduled to be held on Wednesday (December 11) at Harare Sports Club, Harare. 

Ben Curran is the brother of England duo Sam Curran and Tom Curran. And, he is the son of former Zimbabwe player Kevin Curran, who played 11 ODIs for Zimbabwe between 1983 and 1987. Ben Curran has had a terrific domestic season and on the back of that he has been handed a call.
