India name squad for Ireland ODIs, Harmanpreet rested

India have named their squad for the upcoming three-match ODI series against Ireland, with Smriti Mandhana set to lead the side in the absence of Harmanpreet Kaur, who has been rested for the series. Deepti Sharma will be serving as deputy to Mandhana. 

Mandhana, who demonstrated her supreme form, in last month's T20I and ODI series against West Indies, will look to repeat her batting pyrotechnics. Meanwhile, Renuka Singh Thakur has also been rested. All three matches will be held at Niranjan Shah Stadium, Rajkot. The first match will be played on January 10th, while second and third matches will be held on January 12th and 15th.
