India Women are hoping for a series sweep as they gear up to face Ireland Women in the third and final ODI on Wednesday at Niranjan Shah Stadium, Rajkot. Having secured commanding victories in the first two matches, India carry a formidable 2-0 lead in the series. 

In the opening encounter of the series, India displayed exemplary batting prowess, chasing down (238) in (34.3) overs. Stand-in skipper Smriti Mandhana, Pratika Rawal and Tejal Hasabnis played marvellous innings, scoring (41), (89) and (53*) respectively. In the second game, Indian batters again came up with powerful performances, with Jemimah Rodrigues (102), hammering her maiden international ton. 

Apart from her,  Smriti Mandhana, Pratika Rawal and Harleen Deol scored (73), (67) and (89) respectively. India’s top-order batters have been in scintillating form, setting up strong foundations in both matches. Meanwhile, they have also been supported by a disciplined bowling attack. 

Heading into the final ODI, India Women will be determined to maintain their winning momentum and secure a clean sweep against Ireland Women. For Ireland Women, the final match presents a crucial opportunity to salvage pride and conclude the series on a positive note. They will look to put forth a competitive performance to challenge the formidable Indian side.
