Faisalabad is set to host an international match for the first time in 17 years as Pakistan gear up to host Bangladesh in a five-match T20I series beginning May 25. The first two T20Is of the series will be played in Faisalabad, while the remaining three matches will be held in Lahore.

The five-match series is vital for both sides in their preparation for the upcoming T20I World Cup in 2026. Earlier, Bangladesh and Pakistan were scheduled to play three ODIs and three T20Is, but later boards agreed to revise the schedule and included two additional T20Is.

The series will begin on May 25 with the first T20I at Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad. The second game will be played on May 27 at the same venue. While the remaining three games will be played in Lahore on May 30 and June 1 and 3, respectively.
