While the Rajasthan Royals have been eliminated from the IPL 2025, the fourteen-year-old prodigy Vaibhav Suryavanshi has given them thousands of reasons to cheer with his jaw-dropping performances. The wonder kid has made his mark in the tournament with highly effective knocks one after another. Once again on Tuesday against CSK, Vaibhav plundered a swashbuckling 57-run knock off 33 balls to help the side clinch a six-wicket win and finish their IPL 2025 campaign on a positive note. Lauding Suryavanshi, RR batting coach Vikram Rathour said that the young kid has shown maturity in his innings.

“Very impressive. We've been working with him for quite some time now—maybe three to four months. We've seen all these aspects, but it's great to see him doing that in a game, especially under pressure,” Rathour said during the post-match press conference.

“In a big game like today, the ball was doing a bit when he went in. (He) hardly got any balls and didn’t get on strike much during the powerplay. But the maturity and temperament he showed were excellent. These kinds of experiences will definitely help him become a better player in coming times,” Rathour said.

Last month, the fourteen-year-old prodigy made headlines after hitting a 35-ball century during Rajasthan’s match against Gujarat Titans. He blasted a breathtaking 101 from 38 deliveries to score the second-fastest century in the tournament’s history. Meanwhile, Vaibhav capped off his IPL 2025 campaign with 252 runs from seven matches at an average of 36 and a strike-rate of 206.55.
