In one of the most dramatic showdowns, Netherlands emerged victorious over Nepal after their T20I clash in Glasgow on Monday witnessed three Super Overs. The game ended in a tie after the regular 20 overs, prompting a Super Over. Asked to bat, Netherlands had scored 152/7 in 20 overs. And in reply, Nepal brought up 152/8 in 20 overs.

In the initial Super Over, Nepal, batting first, scored 19 runs. Netherlands in response scored the same runs after Max O'Dowd slammed two sixes and one four to take the match into the second Super Over. In the second Super Over, Netherlands, batting first, put out 17. But Nepal again showed their brilliance, taking down the match to an unprecedented third Super Over.

Meanwhile, the third and final Super Over delivered a fitting climax as Nepal failed to score a run with both of their batters, Paudel and debutant Rupesh Singh, scoring 0. And on the other hand, Netherlands batter Michael Levitt, in reply, blasted Sandeep Lamichhane for a six over long-on to finally secure an unforgettable Super Over victory for his side.
