The 19th match of the ongoing Tamil Nadu Premier League will see the showdown between Salem Spartans and Dindigul Dragons on Sunday at Indian Cement Company Ground, Tirunelveli. 

Salem Spartans are perched comfortably in second place in the TNPL points table, having secured three wins from five matches. They’ll be eager to continue their upward momentum and further entrench their finals aspirations.

On the other hand, Dindigul Dragons occupy fifth spot, with two wins from four games—but with a match in hand, a win here is crucial to keep their playoff hopes very much alive. Dindigul Dragons are coming off a defeat in their last game against Chepauk Super Gillies. Similarly, Salem Spartans also suffered a defeat in their last game against Chepauk Super Gillies.
