TNPL 2025: Chepauk Super Gillies vs Dindigul Dragons, Qualifier 2

In Qualifier 2 of the ongoing Tamil Nadu Premier League, Chepauk Super Gillies will be facing Dindigul Dragons on Friday at NPR College Ground, Dindigul. Dindigul Dragons are coming off a breathtaking 6-wicket win against Trichy Grand Cholas in the eliminator held on Wednesday. Skipper Ravichandaran Ashwin was in great form, starring with an elegant 83-run knock to help the side chase 140 in 16.4 overs.
So far, Dragons have run a decent capping in the TNPL, and this is a massive chance for them to storm into the final of the tournament. After losing the 28th match, DD have made a strong return, discovering the much-needed momentum at the right time.
On the other hand, Chepauk Super Gillies, who lost in Qualifier 1 against IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans, would be eager to return to winning ways to make it to the final. They would bank on their players like K Aashiq, RS Mokit Hariharan, Baba Aparajith (c), Vijay Shankar, N Jagadeesan and Swapnil Singh to help the team challenge Dindigul Dragons.
