Fakhar Zaman ruled out of West Indies tour

Pakistan have been dealt an injury blow after one of their most bankable players, Fakhar Zaman, was ruled out of the remainder of the West Indies tour due to a left hamstring strain suffered during the second T20I in Lauderhill. He picked up the injury in the 19th over of West Indies' innings while chasing a ball in the outfield. Following the medical assessment by the team's support staff, it was revealed that Fakhar suffered a mild strain to his left hamstring.

Meanwhile, Fakhar was also ruled out of the third and final T20I against West Indies. In place of him, Pakistan brought in Khushdil Shah in the playing XI for the third T20I. 

According to ESPNcricinfo, following the final T20I against West Indies, Fakhar will return to Pakistan on August 4 and will begin his rehabilitation under the supervision of the PCB medical team at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore
