After a boisterous start with a commanding 39-run victory over Afghanistan in the opening encounter, Pakistan will look to maintain their winning momentum. Meanwhile, hosts UAE will aim to kick off their campaign with a strong performance.

Batting first, they posted a competitive total of 182/7, with Agha Salman playing a pivotal role, scoring a much-needed 53. On the bowling front, Haris Rauf stole the spotlight with a fiery spell, claiming four wickets and disrupting Afghanistan's chase.
