Zimbabwe batter Sean Williams released from squad for T20 World Cup Africa Qualifier
Veteran Zimbabwean cricketer Sean Williams has been released from the national squad currently participating in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup Africa Region Final. The 39-year-old left-handed batter was released due to personal reasons, as confirmed by Zimbabwe Cricket.
Williams’ absence comes as a notable development for the Zimbabwean side, given his experience and mammoth contributions to the team. In response to his departure, Zimbabwe has called up wicketkeeper-batter Clive Madande as a replacement.
