England’s Harry Brook rises to fourth in T20I rankings, Abrar Ahmed goes to top in bowling rankings
Remaining impressive across formats, England's white-ball captain Harry Brook has jumped five places to fourth in the latest ICC Men’s T20I batting rankings following a fruitful series against Sri Lanka. Brook was in devastating form during the three-match T20I series, scoring 170 runs. His standout performance came in the opening game, where he fired an unbeaten century. Brook also scored 67 in the first ODI against Sri Lanka, lifting him to 12th in the ODI batting rankings.
Notably, Brook is already occupying the No. 1 position in the Test batting rankings. Jos Buttler, who blasted two half-centuries against Sri Lanka, climbed two positions to fifth in the T20I batting rankings. Indian batters Ishan Kishan and Abhishek Sharma remain on top of T20I batting rankings. Afghanistan star Rashid Khan slipped from first place in the T20I bowlers rankings after giving away 43 runs while taking one wicket in the third T20I against India.
Pakistan spinner Abrar Ahmed has climbed to the No. 1 position for the first time in his career. Moreover, England all-rounder Jamie Overton surged 47 places to sixth in the T20I bowling rankings. Zimbabwe star Sikandar Raza has also moved into second place in the ODI all-rounder rankings after overtaking Bangladesh’s Mehidy Hasan Miraz. Raza had a breathtaking ODI series against Australia, scoring 57, 45 and an unbeaten 81.
