Sri Lanka name squads for white-ball tour of Pakistan
Sri Lanka on Friday announced their squads for their upcoming tour of Pakistan for a three-match ODI series and a T20I tri-series featuring Zimbabwe. Charith Asalanka has been confirmed as captain for both the ODI series and the T20 tri-series. Dasun Shanaka has been appointed as the vice-captain of the T20I side for the T20I tri-series.
Eshan Malinga, a promising fast bowler who has been around the fringes of Sri Lankan whiteāball squads, has been included in both the ODI squad for the three-match series against Pakistan and the T20I squad for the triāseries. Malinga could be in line to make his international debut in this upcoming T20 tri-series. The tour begins with a three-match ODI series against Pakistan, followed by the T20I tri-series.
