The fourth T20I of the ongoing five-match series between New Zealand and West Indies on Monday at Saxton Oval was abandoned due to persistent rain. Only 6.3 overs of play were possible before the weather intervened, forcing officials to call off the proceedings without a result.

Put in to bat, West Indies reached 38/1 when showers halted the play. Alick Athanaze looked in fine touch, striking 21 runs before losing his wicket to James Neesham, while Amir Jangoo (12)* and Shai Hope (3)* were at the crease when the rain arrived. Following the relentless interruption, umpires decided to call off the game.

New Zealand maintain their 2–1 lead in the series, with the fifth match to be played on Thursday. Meanwhile, the result was a disappointment for West Indies, who were hoping to level the series.
