BAN vs IRE, 3rd T20I: Bangladesh, Ireland prepare for final showdown

Ireland and Bangladesh are gearing up to face off in the third and final T20I on Tuesday in Dhaka. The series currently stands at 1–1 after each side registered a win, and both will be eager to end on a high. In the first T20I, Ireland outplayed Bangladesh to take a 1-0 lead. Asked to bat, Bangladesh posted 181/4 thanks to a superb unbeaten 69 from Harry Tector and a beautiful 32 from Tim Tector. Their performance laid a strong platform for a massive win.
Chasing the target, Bangladesh stumbled under pressure, scoring 142/9 in 20 overs. Ireland bowlers were relentless in their attack, with left-arm spinner Matthew Humphreys taking four wickets. Barry McCarthy and Mark Adair chipped in with three and two wickets, respectively. Meanwhile, Bangladesh bounced back strongly in the second T20I.
Chasing 171, Bangladesh were steadied by a classy half-century from captain Litton Das, who fired 57 off 37 balls with three sixes and three fours to take the side to victory. Heading into the final, both sides will hope to perform up to the standards to claim the series. Each side would expect their experienced players to step up and help their respective teams.
