South Africa have unveiled a formidable squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2026, set to be played across India and Sri Lanka in February and March. The squad features a mix of experience and new talent as South Africa look to go one step further after finishing runners-up in the last edition.

Kagiso Rabada, who returns to the action after a challenging period on the sidelines, will lead South Africa's bowling attack. Rabada made his competitive comeback on New Yearโ€™s Eve during an SA20 clash following nearly ten weeks out with a rib injury. Other pacers include Anrich Nortje, Marco Jansen, Lungi Ngidi, Corbin Bosch, and youngster Kwena Maphaka.

Corbin Bosch and Kwena Maphaka will be appearing at a T20 World Cup for the first time. In total, seven players in the squad are set to experience a World Cup debut. One of the most notable returns is Quinton de Kock, who will resume his role at the top of the order after making himself available for national selection again in October.

The team will be captained by Aiden Markram. South Africa are in Group D along with Afghanistan, New Zealand, Canada and the UAE.

South Africa Squad: Aiden Markram (c), Quinton de Kock, Tony de Zorzi, Dewald Brevis, David Miller, Donovan Ferreira, Marco Jansen, Keshav Maharaj, Kagiso Rabada, Kwena Maphaka, Lungi Ngidi, Jason Smith, George Linde, Corbin Bosch, Anrich Nortje
