SL vs PAK, 3rd T20I: Under-fire Sri Lanka look to outplay Pakistan

After rain washed out the second T20I between Sri Lanka and Pakistan on Saturday at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium, the focus now shifts to the third and final encounter set to be played on Sunday at the same venue. For Sri Lanka, the story so far has been one of unfulfilled promise.

The opening game exposed shortcomings across all three departments, faltering in batting, bowling, and fielding. The hosts struggled to impose themselves against a well-equipped Pakistan. As the series reaches its conclusion, Sri Lanka would look to restore intensity.

Pakistan, on the other hand, will head into the decider with confidence. Their performance in the first T20I gave them an early 1-0 advantage. For them, the objective is pretty clear, as they hope to finish the job and secure the series. But Sri Lanka would be fighting to keep pride intact by levelling it.
