Pakistan confirm squads for white-ball series against South Africa women

Pakistan have named their squads for both the T20I and ODI series for their upcoming tour of South Africa, confirming that Fatima Sana will continue to lead the team in both formats. Pakistan Women have brought in a fresh phase of rebuilding by naming uncapped batter Saira Jabeen and fast bowler Humna Bilal in their T20I squad. 

Fast bowler Humna Bilal has earned her maiden international call-up after consistent performances in domestic cricket. Saira Jabeen has been named in the T20I squad, riding on her success in domestic cricket. The South Africa tour will be Pakistan Women’s first international assignment since their disappointing showing at the 2025 ICC Women’s ODI World Cup, where they endured a tough campaign, finishing at the bottom of the table. 

Meanwhile, former Pakistan fast bowler Wahab Riaz has been appointed as the mentor of Pakistan's women's team for the South Africa assignment.
