WPL 2026: Disciplined GT lock horns with robust RCB

In a blockbuster clash of the ongoing Women’s Premier League, Royal Challengers Bengaluru are set to face Gujarat Giants in Navi Mumbai on Friday, with both teams riding on the momentum. RCB have been on the rise with their commanding start to the season. They opened their campaign with a convincing victory over defending champions Mumbai Indians, and they followed it up with a dominant all-round performance against UP Warriorz. Those back-to-back wins have kept RCB on top of the points table.
Under the leadership of Smriti Mandhana, RCB have been disciplined, and their batting has been one of the factors behind their consistency. Gujarat Giants, on the other hand, have taken a slightly different path to this clash. They began the tournament with two impressive wins, powered largely by their explosive batting lineup. However, they stumbled in their last game, which was against Mumbai Indians. The Giants have been fearless with the bat, posting totals of 207, 209, and 192 in their previous games. Meanwhile, they would hope to come out stronger once again to challenge robust RCB.
