Ahead of the upcoming T20I World Cup 2026, Nepal has appointed former Australian seamer Ian Harvey as bowling consultant coach.  The appointment is crucial in line with Nepal's long-term preparation for the 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, which will be co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka.

Harvey will work closely with fellow Australian Stuart Law, who is currently serving as Nepal’s head coach. Harvey brings a wealth of experience, having represented Australia in 73 ODIs, claiming 85 wickets, and contributing 715 runs.

He was also part of the Australian squad that won the 2003 ODI World Cup in South Africa. He has previously coached Gloucestershire, transitioning into coaching following his playing career.
