MI London have appointed Kieron Pollard and Lisa Keightley as head coaches of their men’s and women’s teams, respectively. The dual announcement comes as MI London prepare for their first appearance in the competition later this year. Pollard has been deeply involved with the Mumbai Indians (MI) for well over a decade.

His association with MI began as a player in the Indian Premier League, where he featured in more than 200 matches and played a massive role in the franchise’s multiple title-winning campaigns. Pollard has been a prominent face across MI’s global network. He has represented MI Cape Town in South Africa’s SA20, MI New York in Major League Cricket (MLC), and MI Emirates in the ILT20.

“I am honoured to take on the role of Head Coach with MI London. Having played in The Hundred and for Surrey, I've seen first-hand the strong alignment between Surrey's cricketing culture and the Mumbai Indians' winning ethos. This is an exciting opportunity to build a strong team, create a high-performance culture, and work towards sustained success in the seasons ahead,” Pollard said.

Lisa Keightley carries huge experience. She is currently a coach with Mumbai Indians in the Women’s Premier League. In Australia, she also works with Sydney Thunder in the Women’s Big Bash League.

“I'm delighted to join MI London women's team for the 2026 season. The Kia Oval is a brilliant place to play and gives me a unique chance to combine Surrey's rich cricketing heritage with the global winning culture of the MI family,” Keightley said.
