South Africa announce squad for women's white-ball tour to New Zealand

South Africa have unveiled a 15-player squad to take on New Zealand in a white-ball series scheduled for March and early April. The tour features a five-match T20I series followed by three ODIs, with the ODI leg forming part of the ICC Women’s Championship.

Laura Wolvaardt ill ead the side that includes experienced players such as Tazmin Brits, Suné Luus and Chloé Tryon. Seam bowling experience comes from the likes of Tumi Sekhukhune, while spin will be covered by Nadine de Klerk and Nonkululeko Mlaba.

One of the major developments in the squad selection is the maiden ODI call-up for Kayla Reyneke. Also making a welcome return to the ODI setup are seasoned pacers Ayabonga Khaka and Masabata Klaas, as well as former captain and all-rounder Dané van Niekerk.
