Pakistan pacer Hasan Ali is set to join Yorkshire for the Vitality Blast, replacing Naveen-ul-Haq, who has been ruled out due to injury. Hasan is tremendously experienced in the shortest format of the game, carrying a vast amount of experience of playing in leagues across the world. Previously, Hasan has enjoyed three stints with Warwickshire in the Blast between 2023 and 2025, claiming 44 wickets. Moreover, Hasan has represented Pakistan in 57 T20Is, registering 72 wickets at an average of 23.

"Whilst we're naturally disappointed to not see Naveen join us this year, in Hasan we have an exceptional replacement," Yorkshire's general manager of cricket Gavin Hamilton said.

"He arrives with a wealth of experience and a skillset that we believe will be invaluable to the group. We're delighted to have secured someone of Hasan's quality at such short notice, and everyone at the club is looking forward to welcoming him to Headingley next month."

Currently, Hasan Ali is involved in the Pakistan Super League, representing Karachi Kings. So far in the PSL, Ali has taken nine wickets in four games at an economy of 7.37. Notably, Hasan Ali will also appear for the White Rose county in two County Championship games, against Warwickshire and Leicestershire.
