Delhi Capitals clinched a blazing seven-wicket win over Rajasthan Royals on Friday in Jaipur, overhauling a high-scoring chase with ease. Chasing a target of 226, DC came out with an aggressive approach. Openers KL Rahul and Pathum Nissanka gave the side a flying start, taking the bowlers on from the outset. Rahul smoked a crucial 75, while Nissanka played brilliantly, notching up 62.

Nitish Rana smashed 33 off 17 balls to make a useful contribution. Meanwhile, Tristan Stubbs and Ashutosh Sharma chipped in with handy contributions of 18 and 25, respectively, guiding the team across the finish line in 19.1 overs.

Earlier, RR had posted a big total of 225/6 after choosing to bat first. Their innings, however, got off to a shaky start with early dismissals of Yashasvi Jaiswal and Vaibhav Sooryavanshi. But captain Riyan Parag, who played a standout knock of 90 from 50 deliveries, brought things under control.

Partnering with Dhruv Jurel, who scored a composed 42 off 30 balls, the duo stitched together a crucial 102-run stand. Donovan Ferreira unleashed a blistering cameo, hammering 47 unbeaten off 14 balls.
