BAN vs PAK, 2nd Test: Hasan Ali stretchered off the field following injury scare

Pakistan have suffered a massive setback after fast bowler Hasan Ali was forced to leave the field following an injury during the opening session of the second Test in Sylhet on Saturday. The incident took place in his first over of the match. Bowling the fifth delivery of the over, Hasan bowled a short-of-a-length ball to Bangladesh debutant opener Tanzid Hasan.
The batter attempted an awkward shot, chipping the ball back towards the bowler. Seeing an opportunity for a wicket, Hasan reacted quickly and launched himself forward in an attempt to complete a low catch. In his desperate effort to grab the ball, Hasan landed awkwardly after the dive, slamming his head on the ground. The ball reportedly stopped slightly on the pitch and popped up sharply, with Hasan losing balance and appearing to pick up a serious injury.
The impact appeared painful because he remained on the turf and collapsed in pain. Medical staff rushed onto the field immediately. The physio talked to Hasan before he was carefully placed on a stretcher and taken off the field. The injury comes at a crucial stage for Pakistan, who entered the match under pressure after losing the opening Test by 104 runs. Bangladesh currently lead the two-match series 1-0 and are aiming for a historic series victory at home.
