Rampaging SRH decimate RCB

Sunrisers Hyderabad put on a magnificent performance to outclass Royal Challengers Bengaluru by 55 runs in a high-scoring battle on Friday at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. Deciding to bat, SRH piled up a massive total of 255/4 in 20 overs after their top order tore into the RCB attack. Abhishek Sharma set the tone with a breathtaking knock of 56 from 22 balls.
His fearless approach handed SRH the perfect start, and after the powerplay fireworks, Ishan Kishan took charge and played a superb innings of 79 off 46 deliveries. Heinrich Klaasen inflicted further damage with a blistering 51 from 24 balls.
Chasing a big target of 256, RCB had a flying start, with Venkatesh Iyer attacking fearlessly and smashing 44 runs from 19 balls. However, the quick dismissals of Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal pushed RCB onto the back foot and disrupted their momentum.
Despite the setbacks, Rajat Patidar fought hard with a well-made 56, while Krunal Pandya chipped in with 41 unbeaten in an attempt to keep the chase alive. The pair tried to rebuild the innings, but the challenging target made their task even tougher. RCB could only muster 200/4 in 20 overs, suffering a crushing loss.
