Bangladesh name new-look squad for Zimbabwe T20Is, Towhid Hridoy to lead

Bangladesh have named their squad for the upcoming three-match T20I series against Zimbabwe, with captain Litton Das, all-rounder Mehidy Hasan Miraz, and pace bowlers Taskin Ahmed and Hasan Mahmud set to miss the series.
All four of these players will not be available due to their commitments in the Lanka Premier League, which takes place during the same period as the international fixtures. In Litton's absence, batter Towhid Hridoy will be leading Bangladesh.
Hridoy had also captained the side during Bangladesh's recent home series against Australia, when Litton was sidelined because of a calf injury. Meanwhile, Yasir Ali has made his comeback to the T20I side after almost three years. The T20I series against Zimbabwe is scheduled to begin on July 15, with the remaining matches set to take place on July 17 and July 19. All matches will be played at Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo.
