Ravindra Jadeja joins Kapil Dev in elite list with massive milestone
Indian star Ravindra Jadeja became the fifth Indian all-rounder to complete 350 wickets in Test cricket, joining a group of Indian legends. He joins Anil Kumble (619), Ravichandran Ashwin (537), Kapil Dev (434) and Harbhajan Singh (417) in achieving this spectacular milestone.
In terms of left-arm spinners, Jadeja occupies the third spot for Test wickets, sitting behind Sri Lanka's Rangana Herath (433) and New Zealand's Daniel Vettori (362). Jadeja achieved the feat by dismissing Sri Lanka batter Keshara Nuwantha during day three of the ongoing first Test against India and Sri Lanka in Galle.
The record also helped Jadeja join Kapil Dev as the only Indians to brought up more than 4,000 Test runs and 350 wickets. Notably, Kapil Dev capped his Test career with 5,248 runs and 434 wickets.
