Indian all-rounder Deepti Sharma has made massive gains in the ICC women's T20I rankings for bowlers' rankings, hopping four spots to settle on second spot. Indian batter Shafali Verma jumped one spot to be in sixth place in the T20I batters’ rankings. Notably, Deepti Sharma played a useful role in India’s title win at the recently concluded Women’s Asia Cup 2026, claiming 14 wickets and ending the tournament as the highest wicket-taker.

On the other hand, Shafali Verma was the leading scorer with 236 runs. Meanwhile, Indian spinner Shree Charani continues to dominate the top spot with her career-best 804 points.

She is the only Indian player to have achieved the highest rating points in the ICC rankings, overtaking former captain Mithali Raj’s previous record of 780 points in the batters’ rankings back in 2011. Notably, Indian women won the Women’s Asia Cup 2026 after beating Sri Lanka women in the final.
