India obliterate Sri Lanka to march into Asian Games final

Bowling Sri Lanka out for a paltry 45, India claimed a stunning 124-run win in the Asian Games semi-final on Thursday in Nisshin to storm into the final of the Asian Games. India will now face arch-rival Pakistan in the final on Saturday, looking to defend the gold medal.
India produced the incredible bowling display, with ace pacer Jasprit Bumrah giving the side a rumbustious start with a double-wicket opening over. He took out Sineth Jayawardene and Sohan de Livera for ducks to leave Sri Lanka in a difficult position. Meanwhile, there was not a single batter for Sri Lanka, who could step up against India’s staggering bowling attack as the island nation was routed for 45 in 9.5 overs in chase of India’s 169. Axar Patel and Abhishek Sharma also returned with two wickets each to spark an epic collapse.
Earlier, Ishan Kishan blazed an unbeaten 80 to help India post a competitive total of 169/7. During his knock, he launched five sixes and four fours to lead India's batting assault. Ishan Kishan made a good use of the perfect start which Vaibhav Sooryavanshi had given to India with a fiery knock of 38 off 21.
