Bangladesh confirm squad for historic Australia ODI series, Nigar Sultana to lead

Bangladesh have revealed their squad for the upcoming three-match ODI series against Australia, with Nigar Sultana set to lead the side. There have been opportunities for a few returning players and two uncapped seamers. The Bangladesh Cricket Board has included pace-bowling all-rounder Disha Biswas and right-arm fast bowler Habiba Islam in the squad. Their inclusion might give them a chance to make their ODI debuts. Batters Murshida Khatun and Dilara Akter have made their return to the side. 

There have also been changes to the squad that represented Bangladesh in their most recent ODI series. Juairiya Ferdous, Fahima Khatun and Fariha Trisna, who were part of the team that faced Sri Lanka at home in April, have been left out. Meanwhile, the three-match series will be played in Brisbane, with the opening ODI scheduled to be played on October 9. The second and third matches will be held on October 11 and 14, respectively.
