Sunrisers Hyderabad secure T Natarajan in trade deal with Delhi Capitals
T Natarajan is set to return to his erstwhile team Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) ahead of IPL 2027 after the franchise successfully secured him in a trade with Delhi Capitals (DC). As part of the deal, legspinner Zeeshan Ansari has joined Delhi Capitals at his current price. SRH will sign the pacer for INR 5 crore, while Ansari will go to DC on his existing amount of INR 40 lakh.
Natarajan's earlier stint with SRH lasted from 2020 to 2024, playing 55 matches for the franchise and picking up 65 wickets. Meanwhile, he featured in only a handful of matches during the 2025 campaign after injuries disrupted his season. He returned to the team in 2026, playing ten games for Delhi and claiming five wickets.
Ansari, on the other hand, appeared in 10 matches for SRH during his maiden IPL season in 2025. He made a powerful impact on his IPL debut after claiming three wickets against Delhi Capitals.
