Ralphie Albert to captain England Under-19s on Pakistan tour

England’s Under-19 squad for their upcoming tour of Pakistan in December has been announced, with Ralphie Albert set to lead the side. Nottinghamshire’s Farhan Ahmed will serve as his deputy. The 18-man squad will travel to Rawalpindi for a series of three Youth ODIs.
After the ODIs, both sides will also lock horns in a four-day Test match. Before going to Pakistan, the squad will have a preparatory training camp in Sri Lanka from November 19 to 30.
Meanwhile, former Durham fast bowler Neil Killeen has been handed the charge of the Young Lions as interim head coach for the winter programme. Killeen will be joined by an experienced support staff comprising Joe Denly, Steve Mullaney and Kyle Hogg.
“I am really looking forward to leading an exciting group of young players and coaches across their winter programme,” head coach Neil Killeen said.
“This is an opportunity for these young players to experience new countries and conditions and for our coaching team to help develop their game in a world-class environment, which will only help in their journey towards international cricket.
“Sri Lanka is an excellent venue for our training camp, where we can build towards what we know will be a tough contest in Pakistan following our series in the summer."
