World Cup 2023: Bigger gains in focus as Afghanistan meet Netherlands

After throwing some of the best upsets in the ODI World Cup 2023, Afghanistan and Netherlands will be facing each other on Friday at Ekana Sports City in Lucknow. Both teams have exhibited a new vigour in their performances while outplaying some of the incredibly talented teams.  Afghanistan are having a little upper edge in the tournament with their three victories out of their six matches. While, Netherlands are having two wins out of their six matches. It’s going to be an amazing contest as both teams would be eying victory to consolidate their chances of getting into the semi-final. Afghanistan will take comfort in the fact that they are coming into this match on the back of their two back-to-back wins from their past matches. It will be an important clash for both teams as the outcome of this match will decide their fate moving further into the tournament. Players to watch out from both teams will be Rashid Khan, Rahmanullah Gurbaz, Paul van Meekern and Rahmat Shah.
