New Zealand lost seven of their players in their pursuit of 332-run target on day four of the ongoing first Test match against Bangladesh on Friday at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium. At stumps on day four, New Zealand were 113/7 with Daryl Mitchell and Ish Sodhi unbeaten on (44) and (7) respectively. Bangladesh bowler Taijul Islam ripped through New Zealand’s batting attack with the wickets of Devon Conway, Kane Williamson, Tom Blundell and Kyle Jamieson. New Zealand couldn’t get a good start with Tom Latham losing his wicket for a duck. Devon Conway scored (22) runs while Kane Williamson managed to get (11) runs. New Zealand are having very less chances of winning this game. Going into day five on Saturday, New Zealand will need (219) runs from (96) overs to win the game. Earlier, New Zealand had bowled out Bangladesh for (338) in their second innings. In their first innings, Bangladesh had scored (310) runs after winning the toss while New Zealand had scored (317) runs in their first innings.
