Bangladesh and New Zealand will meet each other to play the second and final Test on Wednesday at Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka. In the first Test match, Bangladesh had scripted history by thrashing New Zealand for the first time at their home soil. Moving into the second Test, Bangladesh would eye a triumph in the two-match series. Whereas, New Zealand would eye a comeback in the series. During the first game, New Zealand had failed drastically to put up a up to scratch challenge against New Zealand. Bangladesh had registered a huge 150-run victory in the first match to lead the series 1-0. Bangladesh, in their backyard, have shown strong intentions while dominating in all departments.

Talking about the first game, Bangladesh had scored (310) runs in their first innings where Mahmudul Hasan Joy had contributed with his 86-run innings. In reply, New Zealand had scored (317) runs in their first innings on the back of a century-filled knock coming in from Kane Williamson (104). In their second innings, Bangladesh had mustered (338), setting the target of (332). Defending the total, Bangladesh had bowled out New Zealand for (181). Taijul Islam had made a massive impact with his 10-wicket haul across both innings. Overall, Bangladesh had enjoyed a collective performance from their players. New Zealand, on the other hand, will look to get back to winning ways to level the series. The match is scheduled to start from 9:00 AM (IST).
